What is expected from a 'Sanskari Bahu'?

A 'Sanskari Bahu' should wake up early, take care of the household chores & needs of family members. She should not be too ambitious in her career & always put family over her own aspirations. This is how the society defines Ideal Bahus. What can women do to break the stereotype of an ideal bahu?

I did all the things which is expected from a sanskari bahu like getting up at 4 am and doing house hold chorus. but I didn't gave dowry to them as much they wanted so my all work is neglected and I became worst than a servent. I think in others house servents are being treated well than me. so I failed in the parameter of dowry. if I had given them dowry then maybe I would too become a sanskari bahu.

So true.. I thought i m only one who is feeling like servant may be i dnt like to wirk like this.
Wat ever may be you do they will always keep u showing down even if husband also come up with their wording

i would say i do whatever i want . i dont do any riwaz ,i do what i like. im happy my family is happy .
if question turns" sanskari pati " it will be more good🙂
