A \'Sanskari Bahu\' should wake up early, take care of the household chores & needs of family members. She should not be too ambitious in her career & always put family over her own aspirations. This is how the society defines Ideal Bahus. What can women do to break the stereotype of an ideal bahu?
What is expected from a \'Sanskari Bahu\'?

I think everyone has the same situation towards sanskari bahu, every family wants a girl who wants a girl who will do all domestic chors without asking anything, a girl who will takecare of whole family but when it will come to her then she is bahu n she shouldnt say anything but they forget if you will let her be happy as she wants then your family will be more happy. Ladies please take care of urself first becoz if u r ok only then ur family will be ok. Live ur life on ur own way, let people say anything about us , dont let it effect you and be happy. Our family is with us

hii all .. true for few women out there but I want to share my life here that I m married to a man whose parents treat me like their own daughter and i hv no restrictions in doing anything being in "so called sasural " nor i hv to wake up early n need to do all types of sterotypes chores wat ppl are talking abt.

List of Expectations from sanskari bahu
1. Silencer having only yes mode activated
2. Machine or free obedient servant, without any fail giving timely services
3. Definitely she should given birth a baby. AND ITS A BOY
4. All programs as well as all types of programming languages should be feeded before installing BAHU in sasural House. That to zero defect or any sort of rework. Programs like puja, cooking, washing, cleaning, teaching babies, small outside work like grocery, bill payment etc.
5. Lesser time to be spent in doing additional SEVA of in laws.
6. Priority should be sort by like Father in law(FIL) , then BIL, SIL(nanad), Husband, MIL, then ur own child, then of course u should NOT come in this list at all... They are other activities to be looked into.
7. Last not the least, she should be a chameleon type means changing her living to nature as per in laws style. Means or including ur fooding or dressing style must chnge per their one .
I did all the things which is expected from a sanskari bahu like getting up at 4 am and doing house hold chorus. but I didn\'t gave dowry to them as much they wanted so my all work is neglected and I became worst than a servent. I think in others house servents are being treated well than me. so I failed in the parameter of dowry. if I had given them dowry then maybe I would too become a sanskari bahu.
