I never tried to impress my MIL. I just be myself though I respected her and helped her. bt she tried to dominate me like I must move as per her order... something like that..... sooo one big day she said getout from her home(including my husband as he is supporting me in tough times)...... now it's been 9years me, my hubby, kids living separately. now I realised one thing that she values me only when I'm staying away from her.

my mother in law was impressed with me she liked habbit like i wake up early in the morning nd then I cleaned my home timely prepared breakfast and lunch for my husband for all things she was impressed to me

Indian reality- a girl does everything to impress her mother in law and to become a good daughter in law but it's really very difficult to impress mother in law, she needs something different to get happy. and this is the saddest part of our society. she wants a never ending money. if daughter in law gives a lot money jewellery and other household items as dowry and also after marriage she earns good money from job and does all the house chorus only then the girl can win her mother in law's heart. my personal experience.

really that's true. I also suffer all this stuff. mother in law can't become mom.

I am lucky to have my mother in law. she is supportive, cooperative, understanding, living and many more.
All she wants is smily face from me all the time.
