Any relationship will last when the people involved in it compromise. Saas and Bahu relation is also the same. Daughter in law can never be treated like a daughter and Mother in law can never be treated like a mother. So I feel expectations must decrease from both the sides. Other issues can be handled except the trust issue. For a mother in law it's hard to trust her daughter in law!!!!!

I truly agree that Saas Bahu relationship should be equally contributed by both.
Insecurity is the biggest issue with backward thoughts of saas and Smart Bahu.

Here I apply Newton's third law.
To every action there is equal and opposite reactions.

We get 1 life and compromising it throughout to keep everyone mind is not possible, that to when you become mom and when you equally give contribution for your career.

SaaS will be a SaaS, even though you treat her more than your own mother. SaaS as a mother is rarely seen in today's time. So if you doing anything good, don't expect anything in return.
