SaaS will be a SaaS, even though you treat her more than your own mother. SaaS as a mother is rarely seen in today's time. So if you doing anything good, don't expect anything in return.

I truly agree that Saas Bahu relationship should be equally contributed by both.
Insecurity is the biggest issue with backward thoughts of saas and Smart Bahu.

Here I apply Newton's third law.
To every action there is equal and opposite reactions.

We get 1 life and compromising it throughout to keep everyone mind is not possible, that to when you become mom and when you equally give contribution for your career.

My mother-in-law does not like me from the beginning because we have a love arranged marriage. It is going to be 5 years of marriage but she is not happy with me till date. Discrimination at home. I wanted to be a daughter but could not. Now my daughter has also become a part of this discrimination.

I completely agree that this saas bahu relationship depends on how they treat each other.

I think it is totally depend on how you see relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law,many MIL treat her bahu as a daughter only .I am lucky to have such MIL.
