Massage can be incredibly beneficial for babies, promoting overall growth and development. Here are some ways massage helps:

1. Improved circulation: Massage enhances blood flow, which helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to growing tissues.
2. Relaxation and stress relief: Massage calms the nervous system, reducing stress hormones and promoting a sense of well-being.
3. Muscle tone and flexibility: Gentle massage strokes help develop muscle tone, flexibility, and range of motion.
4. Sensory awareness: Massage stimulates sensory receptors, enhancing awareness and integration of sensory experiences.
5. Bonding and attachment: Massage fosters a deep sense of connection and attachment between baby and caregiver.
6. Digestive health: Massage can help alleviate digestive issues, such as constipation and gas.
7. Sleep improvement: Regular massage can lead to better sleep quality and duration.
8. Neurodevelopment: Massage may even support brain development and cognitive function.

Remember to always massage your baby gently, lovingly, and with care.
