my baby girl is 7 weeks old. i have severe pain while pooping. in this covid scenario we have not been able to consult doctor also. not able to understand is it fissure or piles. it's been 3 weeks now. really worried how will this problem go away.
but yes, looking at the baby girl makes things better :)
Take movicol syrup for 3 days according to indications given on the box. my doc suggested me for the same problem
my baby was in incubulater (NICU) for 14 days. The condition of the baby became worse on the third day and was transferred to a better hospital where there was even advanced incubulater. Those were the worst days.

really. taking care of a premature child is tough. you did great. hats off. my baby girl had a low birth weight, though she is a full term baby. I am also going through people calling her tiny, weak etc. she is now 7 weeks old and weight is low. her growth is also slow maybe because of low birth weight. fitting clothes is a challenge for us as well. great to hear your experience.
Since our baby was premature, she was in NICU for 5 days due to sugar fluctuations; Breastmilk production, extraction to be given in NICU; had to keep her in certain temperature for first few weeks; only sponge bath for almost 1.5 months ( where people asked to give oil bath n doctors asked not to.. we went with doctor's advice) ; finding dress that fit her; Asking visitors to use hand sanitizer before touching baby; handling Anxiety when visitors with cough / cold/ fever came; Not to get offended when people commented that she is tiny; Increasing her weight by hourly feed and formula combination - an hour or two sleep per day for almost two months which resulted in back pain later - that almost made me bedridden for a day;
Now she is almost nearing baseline weight at 8 months. She has this special smile only for me; she is real fighter - has overcome so many obstacles; Makes my days special; except that she is not chubby , she is now active and reaching milestones as expected.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I have 7 weeks old baby and have developed piles during post pregnancy phase. It’s painful n bring a lot of discomfort. Have you been taking any treatment, if yes then please share
Would suggest to extend your joining by 2 months as thing may not get better by June
This was my first pregnancy. And I was eagerly waiting for my daughter. I am a Nephrologist and was very naive. I thought that like most of the mothers in my family, I will go back to work after she is 3 months old. I had to work hard for my job and did not want to take much leave. Hence I was working daily even in the last trimester and ultimately went for my delivery from my workplace directly. As soon as I saw my daughter, my life has changed. There were many challenges and I had lots of help to get through it. The first problem was breast feeding- there were issues with latching and I had painful engorgement. After this u had severe pain at episiotomy site and could not sit properly for a month after delivery. This was followed by recurrent anal bleeding due to piles and multiple fissures. But all through this my baby was the reason u could see the light at the end of the tunnel. However, my life went crazy when my little one developed ear infection and I saw pus coming out of her ears. The pediatrician felt it maybe because of the position I was holding my child in- while breast feeding her. I kept blaming myself for days. I kept thinking about how I had missed the fact that she must have had ear pain, how I should have picked that up as a mother and taken her to the Pediatrician earlier. All this stress suppressed my milk production. I was spiralling. Then somehow with my husbands support I got better. Through all this whenever I looked at my baby, all my pain would go away. Today she is 4 and a half months old and I still have anal bleeding due to hemorrhoids and fissure. But all that pain is much less than the pain that I feel when I think about leaving her at home and re joining work in June, especially in this covid era.
