best way to deal with breast engorgement is massage... massage the breast starting from base to the tip of the nipple before and during feeding as well .. it helps in releasing the milk from the swollen part first so we will find some relief .... if the baby tummy is full and you still have pain apply hot compress ... you can also try by feeding baby in batches so a lot of milk would not be accumulated in a single place and cause pain.....HAPPY FEEDING 🤱

breast engorgement happens when baby misses a feed, or baby doesn\'t feed enough or mother does not alternate her breasts for every feed. it is basically the excess built up of milk on the breasts.
but way to ease it to feed the baby regularly. relatch the baby to feed properly once again in cases in sufficient feeding. in cases of a working mother who is away from the child, pump the milk and Store it in a bottle.
generally the flow of milk from an engorged breast is high, and can choke the baby, hence pump the first few ml of milk and ease the breast and then latch the baby to feed.
Alert to working new moms: in cases where both baby and pumps not available to ease the engorged breast, please use the breast pads to absorb the excess leak. they are really handy. (above tips are from a personal experience )

my sis just gave birth.her nipples were already cracked.but now the baby bited so hard that breast is getting cut and blood is coming out from the cut.her both the nipples are ruptured. is there any way or suggestion
she can try nipple shield so she will not be in pain and baby also gets enough milk with a better latch and without hurting mom
wen u feel ur breasts are fuller, manual breast pump is a good suggestion for dis n u can store dat milk. n using the pump makes ur nipple sharper too. for first tym moms this ll b helpful.

dont worry..try different position of feeding..start with sleeping position..ur baby will get comfort latch..and u try to be calm...myself gone through same problm..bt now i am able to feed my milk to my baby..
I can't tell in this because m unable to give my milk to my baby,,, due to stress or nipple is not comfortable I have tried a lot frankly speaking,,,,, feel very bad I can't give my milk to my daughter,,,

Apply Nipcare cream after every feeding,and wipe breast before feeding,this will help. This is doctors recommended.
