no , the situation is going to change. parents k liye girl and boy ka difference pahle ki tarah nahi raha , kuch cheeze he jo nahi badli but time k saath saath beta aur beti ka difference khatam hota ja raha he betiya sirf liabilities nahi rah gai

no I don't think so. in today's world a girl is as capable of taking care of herself and her parents ,if the need arises. in fact I think the girls are more capable as they also take care of their in laws, which boys or rather men rarely do!!
