I lactated even before delivery and my baby latched like a pro from the beginning so I thought wow it's so simple. but the subsequent days night feed was taking a toll on my patience. He wouldn't latch and bring his hands in front of his mouth and cry loudly. I held him in one hand and tried to latch him with the other but who will remove his hands from his mouth??? omg I thought ok this is not gonna work out. but with my husband's help I sailed thru that. and came the shallow latch, bleb, engorgement. But the hardest was due to fast letdown. we both cry everytime during feed. baby out of hunger nd me or of helplessness. Then found out that If feed in side lying position then it will be better. And I continue to feed him in side lying position. completed exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months and going.
