my breastfeeding journey was the only difficult part of my entire pregnancy and postpartum phase.. i was tested covid positive before my delivery and that is why I was kept in a separate ward, where I could not get enough guidance about feeding technique or checking of baby latching properly. bcz of the covid medicine, my milk supply was also less, bcz of which my baby used to suck very hard..my nipples started bleeding.. i started using nipple shield, which helped me a lot! after sometime I got proper massage and drank jhandu Satavari and my milk supply came to normal and i started feeding my baby properly!

Improper latching and crack was the most difficult. I overcome it with proper latching

there were many challenges TBH
but the most painful was that my son's gums were very strong and it hurt everytime he was feeding since he was born...seeing his gums doc Said I had alot of calcium intake during my pregnancyperiod.. so that led to severe infection and cuts on my breasts ... I had to get it treated frequently....once it happened on left and then on right and the kept on happening uptil my child was 1.5 year old and I had to stop my breastfeeding .

Latching was major concern. Baby was not able to latch properly. This led to cracked nipples, which was extremely painful. Breastfeeding became painful and uncomfortable.
Thankfully, with proper lactation counseling was able to feed comfortably.
