My breastfeeding journey was good eventhough i have some problems. Initially I have cracked nipples and I suffered many days because of that pain. I used to apply coconut oil for the cracked nipples and at night times I allow to air dry. Applying breast milk on cracked nipples also does magic. By keep on feeding to my little one it cured on its own.
Another problem I faced is that people around me started saying from day 1 that I have insufficient milk whenever baby cries . Being a new mom i started believing that and i got stressed a lot . But I found out after many days that it's all not true since I had milk overflow and had breast engorgement. Baby cries for many reason and we should care the baby accordingly. If you wish to breastfeed for a long days don't believe whatever people around you says . It's your child. Your body knows to make enough milk for ur baby . Think positively. Believe in yourself and your body. Only a mom can care her child better more than anyone.
Breastfeeding journey is like learning to ride a bicycle. No one rides good at first. we keep on falling and we learn in that. So think positively. Give some time for yourself and your child to learn and adapt to eachother. Atlast whatever problems I face , it disappears on seeing my little ones face. I love being a mom. 🤱🙂
