1. Breaking societal norms : My initial struggle had loads of suggestions from relatives. I kept a blind ear and trusted my instinct.
2. Relationship with Kid : This is where I spent my energies on ! Creating that cozy atmosphere and moment where we would talk through expressions.
3. Strengthening bond with partner : Often underrated. This gave me the confidence and comfort more than anything else

hi, I m mother of a 11 month child and my baby is still taking breast feed. it is an awesome experience because it creat am imaging bond or connection between mother and baby. but I had experienced lots of challenges also. At starting first day there was no milk ejection but my baby's sucking was good which caused sore nipple to me and it was too painful, then I used nipcare ointment which was quite helpful.

BreastFeeding is the first and foremost way to keep the baby and mothers bond stronger. If you have less milk, no milk in the early days after delivery then also keep on trying to feed baby. if its just 4-5 drops thats enough to keep the baby strong, nothing can replace breastmilk. The more you try to give milk the milk production increases. first few days i have less milk but the help of phillips avent breast pump and my faith i succeed all the hurdles. Dont get tensed it will affect your milk supply. Drink more milk, eat green gram, dry fruits, nut and vegetables it will help to some extend. Relax new moms evrything gonna be fine…

The challenged I faced in my breastfeeding was excessive milk production. I used Manual breast milk pump but at times it was so tiring that when ever I didn’t use the breast milk pump due to excessive milk in breast, I developed fever and immense pain and I didn’t realise that my baby was having surplus milk and vomited most of the times. Later on I shifted to electric breast pump which made it easier and donated the excessive milk.

During the initial 5-6 days, i faced the problem of latching my baby which resulted in formation of lumps in my breasts and arms and the whole joy if being a new mommy was turned into a horrible pain and doubts..
But all thanks to my mother and mother in law and also my doctor who taught me how to latch baby and a big thanks to philips avent natural Teat which made latching all the more easy and lot less painfull. All these helped me in gaining back the joy and enjoy motherhood to the fullest.
