This was my first child and i had no idea how painful it would be. The initial days were tough as I wasn’t producing any breast milk. The heart wrenching cry i always hear made me wanna feed but i was so helpless. My mother made me Dal with papaya everyday to help in producing more milk, which is a common remedy here in every household. We had to feed formula to our baby since we didn’t have any other option and also i tried Lactose which helped me a lot. It is easily accessible at your nearest drugstore. Soon enough my body reacted and i started to produce milk so much so that my breast looked like a small hill which was quite funny and painful.
In the beginning my baby wasn’t able to latch properly and the more she rejected my breast the more painful it was as the milk needed to be let out. Soon enough she started to adapt and voila my milk flowed like running river and the pain gradually decreased.
