Being a first time mom I had no idea about breastfeeding. After giving birth to my baby girl normally the midwife asked me to offer the breast to her. She was a natural and latched beautifully for 3 hrs. I thought that was a hell lot of time and she should be full. But since I had GDM during my pregnancy the midwife offered the baby formula to avoid jaundice, which increased her appetite and the colostrum produced in the first 3 days was not enough for her. She started crying of hunger even after sucking for hours and it really made me sad and it felt like I failed as a mother and eventually we had to give her the formula for next few days until I had the milk flow. And here I am exclusively breast feeding successfully for 5 months. Though we still have our ups and downs I can say it is a happy ending. For those who are struggling with the breast milk for first few days it is ok to offer the formula and eventually get the baby on breast slowly and exclusively. ☺️

I have 9 month old baby via c section. At very first stage I did not have enough milk so that i had to give formula to my lil one. But i did not give up, he did not latch properly, i tried so hard at day and night also. First 15 days its very toughest for me and my baby also. Then after i have enough milk supply and my baby was also prepared for latching. Fron blocked molk duct to too much breast milk i am feeling so blessed for my baby .
I recommend you to get into healthy breastfeeling position, food awareness for nutritional values and most importantly never give up.
it is amazing and blissful for me as a mother and lots of enjoy and fun with maah Lil princess 😊
