As a new mother, there was difficulty while breastfeeding my baby. I had my own doubts :

Whether my baby gets sufficient milk ?
Am I getting enough milk supply ?

And so on…

After analysing several options, we purchased Philips Breast Pump and extracted milk on a daily basis, which cleared all our doubts.

When the baby starts drinking milk, the breasts burst automatically ... and when the baby is satisfied with drinking milk, excess milk is wasted ... This makes me feel bad...

As a new mother it's a overwhelming joy to breastfeed your baby, but at the same time it's very sad that you have insufficient mother's milk.

Major challenge I faced during breastfeeding was that amount of milk secretion was whether proper as per my child's needs. Also the duration .. For how long should we breastfeed the child and whether the milk was sufficient as per his daily needs... Initially I was quite stressed about this but then i consulted a Lactation consultant and things got bit smooth and I could connect and understand my baby's cycle. Also she told me to Breastfeed every half n hour during 10 pm -11 pm. This would keep baby full and he won't be that hungry... So will sleep for long. I followed the same and my baby slept 6 hours non stop and we could also get sleep 💤.

Very new mom will have a painful phase when she fails or faced any problems while breast feed her baby.. I too faced the same when I didn’t know how to feed and due to which I had got the cracked and sore nipples. I cried a lot.! But then breastfeeding pumps really helped a lot. So I advice or request every new mom to learn about feeding first right after her delivery or before delivering her baby.
