What were the challenges in your breastfeeding journey and how did you overcome it?

So basically I was an old school mum until I got Bell’s palsy after 15 days of my delivery. I was on heavy medication and was taking steroids. So I stopped breast feeding my baby grl.she was not accepting normal bottle for her feed so I switched to Philips Avent and yes she started having formula milk.
What I have felt though my motherhood journey so far is dat formula milk is not a taboo and if u can’t feed your child bcoz of any reason then my dear mums, don’t regret! Don’t regret at all… you are doing great !

Breastfeeding is an amazing feeling of a woman. Its creates a strong bond between mom n the baby. Its a uniquely nutritional food of baby. It is a perfect combination of vitamins ,minerals and proteins etc.It is easily digests than formula milk or cow milk. It creates lifelong immunity in babies. On other hand there r some problems facing Breastfeeding mom like mood swings, hormonal changes in body, less freedom, sleepless nights etc . They r quite natural. When we think about our baby’s health other problems will vanish…

Being a mother is a blessing. But this phase is challenging too,it always shape you to a different version.
Breastfeeding was initially was tough for me. I wasn't able to latch properly & I was only able to feed my baby perfectly after 1week. With my mother's assistance,I held him close and made him suck during those days. After proper diet & practice,I was able to feed him properly....I was happy when milk began to flow from my breasts...but those days I cried a lot due to pain of the C-section surgery...Have confidence & trust god to go through this phase....once you get back to normal, you will feel proud about yourself 😊
