Well, my husband always supports my decisions regarding Breast feeding so whether it is giving an expressed breast milk or direct feeding. he ensured not to bother me with what way I choose. in fact, my family members gave me all sort of gyaans but my hero was there to save me from all those so called \" Taanaas\'. My soul mate ensured I should not get stressed about anything as it creates stress and hampers the breast milk flow. During the process of motherhood many females forget about their health and mental stability. My love, ensured that I should not fall for this trap. He ensured that I should get some time for myself and that is the reason he said \"just express the milk and I will feed the baby meanwhile you may have some time for yourself\".These little breaks gave me some time for myself and helped me to overcome my postpartum depression. The first month of my BF journey was full of tears and pain but when you have a partner like this your life becomes a blessing. Today we have completed 2 months with our baby boy and now breast feeding seems like a cake walk for me.. now i am able to feel attached with the baby and I do breast feeding often without any fear. I am feeling short of words, can\'t say more.

breastfeeding connects the newly parents with the baby not only physically but emotionally also. Even the baby feel secure and connect with the parent. Colostrum that is the first milk makes the baby very strong as it is rich in antibodies that no other source of food can provide it for life time. There is a saying in hindi \"maa ka doodh piya hai\" means that if u ever had mother\'s milk it will make u physically and mentally very strong. Ever human has its own fragrance, while the baby is only few days old only it recognises its parent very well because of the skin to skin contact during the process of breastfeeding and the identical fragrance. Parenthood is precious and so is breastfeeding. That was the role of new mom for breastfeeding. The newly daddy cannot secrete milk but help the mommy to be physically and emotionally strong.
As a father my husband played different role with our 3 kids. when our first baby was prematurely born he used to pick up milk from home and drop at NICU. when our second and third baby were born he used to give me back massages and feed her with bottled breastmilk when I was too exhausted to sit and feed. it\'s a treasure for a mother to have a supporting daddy during the journey that will b cherished forever.
