What was the role of your partner in your breastfeeding journey?
Role of my partner was and still is while I am breastfeeding is to continue with the work which I can\'t do Or have left in between due to breastfeeding. Be it cooking, cleaning, laundry, gardening, etc.
I have been breastfeeding in public like malls, in scooty when hubby is driving, restaurants, parks, etc and i get the help needed from him. people give bad looks but my partners presence gives me power. It is important to normalize BF in public it\'s the same way as we eat our food in public.
There are some difficult times in BF when baby is hungry and milf flow will not come. My partner use to handle my fussy baby that time instead of cursing me while I pump.

while feeding baby my husband tries to give me comfortable postion by putting extra pillows to my back sometime offer his shoulder to put my head.
he managed some house chores after coming back from office so that I can give proper time for feeding my baby as well as tries to keep me calm and relax.

My partner has been equal parent in all aspects. My initial days was tough due to latching issue. To help my son have precious breast milk. In the peak covid times, he went and bought me breast pump to help me increase my supply. Massaged my breast to help with engorgement issues.
And hold my son to let him latch as i was unable to hold due to c section pain.
I am forever thankful to him.

Breastfeeding is divine. In the initial days, i faced many issues during breastfeeding. The people in my surroundings made me feel self doubt and mom guilty with their wrong assumptions and myths. But, my husband is the one who lifted me up in that self doubt and made me realise that i am a super mom. He used to motivate me whenever I felt low.
