To start with literally avent played an important role in my breastfeeding journey. I only trusted it for the cleaning to feeding. I got all products for sterilization to bottle warmer to all different feeding bottles.
My partner helped me a lot overall but top most would be :
1. Sterilization process as he enjoyed the hassle free way.
2. Help feed the baby from avent bottles by using warmer to warm as it was very easy way.
3. Be my 3AM buddy to help feed in every 2 hours.

My husband Vineet has always been a great husband and now I can proudly say that he is a great daddy too!
He calms my baby & settles her down like a pro. He provides me the essentials like pillows & water during the breastfeeding sessions. burps the baby after the feed. He makes sure that I eat good food and at right time. He reminds me to take my medicines on time, Gives me good soothing massages whenever required. He is truly a Hero for me.

In healthy relationships, partners trust each other to not deliberately hurt each other. They support each other in what brings each person joy, and they feel joy in witnessing each other\'s joy. Healthy partners, instead of being threatened by each other\'s success or joy, are delighted by it.

What was the role of your partner in your breastfeeding journey?
My baby had to be in the NICU 2 days after his birth because of a sudden weight loss as a result of incorrect breastfeeding. Therefore the anxiety in my breastfeeding journey was amplified, not just for me, but for my husband as well. The first few months of exclusive breastfeeding, the late night feeds, the growth spurts and the episodes of cluster feeding were super challenging to me, like any other new mom. But my husband was there with me, from the get go. Every single time our baby woke us up, he woke up to get things ready for me - my pillow, my bottle of water (because I was super thirsty after every feed), his washcloth, and whatnot. Plus, he stayed up to take care of burping the baby, and putting him to sleep, while letting me sleep after having fed him.
While we thought we had traversed the most difficult phase together, I unfortunately met with an accident, a head trauma, because of which my sleep was of paramount importance. Thanks to my rock, my husband, I was able to express and store my breast milk, which he would feed to our lil one, every time our baby woke us up at night. With almost having recovered from the trauma, and having joined my work back again after my maternity, my husband, till date takes care of one feed in the night, allowing me to sleep through the night undisturbed, so that I can take care of my baby\'s early morning feed.
I now understand my husband wasn\'t kidding when he committed to having a baby. He really has been my greatest support!
