Breastfeeding is a family affair. It takes time, practice, patience, and teamwork. As a dad, you may feel left out if your partner breastfeeds your new baby. But you play an important role. Encourage ne to drink plenty of water, and make sure there\'s plenty of healthy food at home for me to eat. Breastfeeding will make me hungry and thirstyso he take on extra housework, and try to make sure you\'re home as much as possible to do things like cooking and washing..etc

My partner is very helpful in my journey starting from burping the child almost after every feed to calm down for sleeping.My son enjoy sleep with dad at night.The best husband & a caring father😘

What was the role of your partner in your breastfeeding journey?
My son was born with normal delivery but I had to undergo c section at the time for my daughter on 1st April 2022. I had no one with me at home this time. None came to stay along and me after delivery. My hubby was very supportive. He stayed awake to look after our baby. First 3 days I couldn\'t feed my baby so he used to prepare the formula and feed our baby. He came along during my lactation session which really helped us alot as he used to help me breastfeed our baby. Also we together had seen alot of YouTube videos regarding infant care. Now my daughter is 2months old and healthy. My hubby takes care of her while I eat my food as he knows I need to eat well.

He gave me all the emotional support due to which I felt mentally strong and got a feeling of being taken care while I took care of the baby. he also supported in taking utmost care of the baby.
