the breastfeeding took long time and very frequent thing all days... in this scenario partner can help you with adjusting the pillows, sanitized the bottles and give you wet tissue and towel to clean the baby face and nipple of mother. after feeding paterner can support in burp.. and make baby sleep. that is great help and mother can lay down and feel relax

The first time we brought our son home from the hospital and I breast fed our son at home it was extremely painful and uncomfortable...nothing like I had ever imagined. At the hospital he had fed with some difficulty but withthe nurses and the doctor helping and my post delivery pain...the feeding seemed to be okay. At home latching was a problem and I was really really overwhelmed, exasperated and tired. My husband did his best to comfort me and boost my morale... ..I struggled and managed to feed our son little and both baby and I fell asleep ...I woke up at an odd hour ..probably around two in the morning to find my husband watching videos on how to make breat feeding easier...how to get the baby to latch easily. I felt so much love and gratitude for this man who had been with me throughout the delivery and the time in the hospital..he must have been tired too but was trying his best to help me inspite of this. The videos he watched actually helped and his guidance did it too..feeding was not a problem after a day or two!

Due to medical conditions, I could produce milk and this breastfeeding was not an option and we had to opt for formula milk which I was already sad n guilty about. People seeing me giving formula milk used to advice n judge me thinking m intentionally not breastfeeding n that used to make me more sad. During these times, my husband supporter me a lot emotionally and making people understand.

Absolutely ! Parenting is not a 1 persons job . My husband would make sure that I had enough water around and snacks while I fed the baby , he would even make sure that no one invaded our privacy at that moment . He would go to lactation consultant’s with me . He would take care of the baby while I pumped at my ease .

Yes he was pillar of support in breastfeeding journey..He considered it as our family affair..Confidently I can say he considered it as both of our responsibility for same..In beginning days he holded baby for me while I was breastfeeding..later when I learnt to hold ho the extra mile and supported in household chores..Always encouraged me..Always made both of us me and my baby comfortable..Made both of us happy.. Finally we as family did our duties... Happy journey..
