My breastfeeding journey started during pregnancy itself. As we are a Fauji family and living away from our parents, my husband was my primary and only caretaker from the beginning. Particularly for breastfeeding, he used to make ghee roast dosa, garlic chutney, black seed chutney and ginger tea for me whenever he used to get time.
In my case it took 2-3 days before my baby got adequate breast milk. During those days in hospital, my husband would sit next to my bed and hold my newborn latching the nipple properly for hours. We were on strict breastfeed only instructions from our doctor. Though we gave formula milk to our baby for the initial 2-3 days but the expressing session was crucial and my husband was there to help. Last but not the least, currently he burps the baby after I\'m done feeding her whenever he\'s home with us. 😊
