Breastfeeding is undoubtedly the best thing you can do for your baby. Especially the breastmilk right after the delivery is nothing short of a boon for baby. However it may not always be easy. There are however many challenges that you may face during this. For example:
Babies love to sleep right after delivery so you need to wake them up everytime, tip: try patting there cheeks to wake them up.
First time mom? You may not know how to breastfeed, Nursing staff at hospital or Your mom might help you in positioning the baby the right way.
If you are tall you might have severe back and neck pain while sitting and trying to breastfeed, tip: make yourself comfortable by having proper back support you can use nursing pillow or normal pillows to raise baby a lil bit.
There might be people who would dissuade you from breastfeeding, probably the ones who didn't do it themselves (true story) but don't listen to them. you are the mother and you should try and exclusively breastfeed till 6 months.
You must take care of your diet, take good amount of veggies, milk , paneer, daliya, dry fruits. It will help you and baby.
Keep checking your TSH levels, pregnancy does effect thyroid hormones and especially if you have hypo/hyper-thyroidism, it can also effect milk output.
Breastfed babies may not be really chubby but they are healthy so dont let people put doubts in your mind about it.
And last but not the least try to channelize the love you feel for your baby. It definitely helps in breastfeeding.

2 days old baby. not sucking. is that same with all?? or it takes some time to learn
They need time to understand and learn to suck. Hold the nipple into the baby's mouth (dint suffocate then though)and squeeze few drops of milk into the mouth trying to make the baby get the feel of milk. They will start slowly. My younger son took a week to understand this. 😁
