Breastmilk oversupply
I am also facing the same prblm dear but dnt knw wat to do
I had faced the same problem and it was heartbreaking to see my baby splutter and choke on the liquid gold that was supposed to be nourishing her. What I learnt over time is that the initial few months after delivery our bodies are still learning to adapt to our babies requirements. The letdown is really fast in the initial few months and it slows down and keeps pace with the baby\'s requirement. However pumping the milk out is a bad idea. I tried it and it makes the problem worse as the body thinks your baby i drinking the milk you are pumping out and keeps increasing production. This causes your breasts to harden and the baby splutters and chokes more and sometimes cannot latch as the breast will be too hard. Also, the foremilk quantity increases and your babys tummy will be full before he/she gets to the hind milk. That\'s a major loss of nutrients. What helped me after a lot of reading is that when we massage the breasts in the direction from up towards the nipple, the overfull ducts will automatically release milk. This can be stored and given to baby later or donated. This way the breasts become softer and easier for baby to drink. The full solution to the problem came with time, when my body adjusted to my baby\'s requirement. So ladies, hold on to your sanity, avoid mastitis and make life easier for your baby. Do not waste the liquid Gold that comes out and do not pump. hope this helps.

First of all, don\'t get depressed as you are blessed to get sufficient milk/oversupply for baby. Press and hold finger on nipple or use a cloth to reduce the milk pressure. You can breast pump very early in morning and before you sleep so that you can avoid milk leakages. And also massage your breast with warm water to give you some relaxation. I followed the same.Hope it helps.
