Amitabha Name Meaning

The name Amitabha is of Sanskrit origin and is predominantly used in Buddhism. It is composed of two words: "amita," which means limitless or infinite, and "abha," which means light or radiance. Therefore, Amitabha translates to "Infinite Light" or "Boundless Radiance."

In Buddhism, Amitabha is one of the five Dhyani Buddhas who represent the qualities of enlightenment.
