Q.

my baby is 2.250 kg.. how much time does it take for baby to increase weight and as mother things to take care ? I am also using nipple shield to breastfeed, can you recommend a good nipple shield and how long can I use, since my baby is unable to suck without nipple shield, is it safe ?

A. Namaste Mom, No worries you may use the nipple shield it is safe as such , but gradually in between if possible try to directly feed,as well, monthly weight gain expected is in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they almost double their birth weight

A. Hello mom's, To increase weight of New Born try to do breastfeeding as much as possible. For this instead of using ripple shield use Nipple Cream or Breast pump to pump and feed your baby.

Babyhug nipple shield is very good and yes it is hundred percent safe to use nipple shield just maintain proper cleanliness and hygiene with it and it is completely safe to feed with nipple shield for as long as you are feeding the child and the child starts to gain weight almost within a week of birth and the minimum expectation is about 500 g in a month
