#asktheexperts hello sir, I am the father of 40 days old baby boy having weight during birth time 2.8 kg but I just check his weight today i.e. 2.55 kg. he is most of the time crying and he is sleeping within 20 minutes during mother feed but after when he wakes he starts crying and looking for feed. we are just concerned about his weight

The child should gain at least 500 g in a month so when the child was discharged what was the way you have to calculate from that and if the child is not gaining 500 g in a month that means the feeding of the mother is not enough which is by the child gets hungry and keep asking for a feed this case check with your doctor and start with formula
