Q.

my baby boy is 11 and half months old. right from the day of birth he used to pass stool normally, but from 2 days the stool is hard stone like pallets with a lot of straining. we took him to the doctor, she gave dulcoflex suppository, after that he passed lot of gas but stool is still hard and with lot of straining, we are giving fiber rich fruits and vegetables with lot of fluids like coconut water, prunes water, barley water. and didn't introduce any new food. kindly help with solution.

A. Okay so you should start giving a stool softener to the child for the timing which will be helpful this kind of situation can be seen sometime with kids but maybe apart from the fibre food you’re giving you are adding something which is not soothing so you really need to go through the chart of food that you are giving
