in home how we can cure jaundice of 14 day baby .. 2 day before his bilirubin was 17 so we gave photo therapy for 2 days so it came on 14 .. doctor gave us discharge..so how can we reduce more in home

A. Can keep the child into indirect sunlight for 40 to 50 minutes twice in a day which is really very benefiting apart from that starting with vitamin D supplement which is mandatory for initial one year is also going to be quite helpful

Q. My baby is 23 days old. she had jaundice 16 after 3 days of birth and was kept in photo therapy for 2 days. later her jaundice came down to 13 and we were discharged. again after 5 days we felt she is looking more pale. we seek doctor and again she was put in photo therapy for 3 days and was discharged after her jaundice came down to 13. we were advised to show her in morning sunlight without clothes. after 2 weeks putting her in sunlight today her jaundice is 14.1. pls advise what to do.
