hello I willing to pet a bird and my baby boy is 7 months old . is it safe to pet the bird near baby and what hygiene do I need to maintain for safety of both . please help

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician5 years agoA. parents your kid is 7 month old and you want to pet a bird you can surely pet a bird but you need to maintain proper hygiene by regularly cleaning the bird shit..... keep surrounding clean in vicinty of kid

Vritika AroraMom of a 6 yr old child5 years agoA. Hi dear mom Yes u can pet a bird. There is no problem in that. The bird nest should be away from the baby. Make sure u wash hands everytime u touch the birds and then hold ur baby. Birds feathers should be taken care of. If shedding too much then make sure it does not go in ur baby's mouth.
