#asktheexperts my baby is 2.4 kg at the time of his birth how can i increase his weight i am little bit worried i am. giving him formula and breast milk both

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician5 days agoA. In first 3 months the weight gain is slow but after that usually the baby gains around 500 gm weight every month till one year of age so keep feeding baby well

Ma’am what is the age of your child that you haven’t stated so I must like to tell you that every month the child is expected to gain 500 g if your breastfeeding and formula is helping to gain a minimum of 500 g that means your child is gaining healthy amount of weight otherwise you can see your doctor once
