#asktheexpert hi experts my baby girl is of 4 and half months old and since couple of days, water is Continuously coming out from her left eye. I am using Toba the antibiotic eye drop for her ...please advice what is the reason behind it.

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist5 years agoA. tobramycin is good but still you should consult your paediatrician for proper examination of the child and start treatment as advised. always wash your hands before touching your child. trim baby nails frequently

Ankita MehtaMom of a 10 yr 10 m old girl5 years agoA. hi usually it is normal. young babies don't have fully developed tear ducts so it is common. just give massage from inner sides of eyes to tip of nose,it will help to open blocked ducts. but if your child feel discomfort ,pain , itching , redness , yellow or green discharge then you should consult your pediatrician.
