What is social smiling, does social smiling means baby has to look at mom and smile?

Priya DebbarmaMom of a 2 m old girl6 days agoA. social smile is basically your baby smiling while being social (with parents, family members ,people or things) your baby will smile seeing your face , when you talk or sing, basically face to face interaction is better. baby can smile to anyone or anything like baby may smile seeing her surroundings ( colours of the wall ). at the age of 2 month the baby starts giving social smile it is usually an interaction where baby became aware of your presence.

Social smiling is basically something that starts after completing the age of three months with the child gets its proper vision so they look around and that’s when they can feel that something is around so they just give random smile here and there it is not for the mother only it can be for anybody anything also
