my baby is 5 and half month old and he is on mother's milk and his weight is 7kg is it adequate

Seems like better than adequate though I am not aware about the birth weight of your child but the child should gain a minimum of half a kilo kilogram in a month so on that it should be evaluated and it can go to 1 kg maximum in a month or if it is more than the expected weight gain then also it is very healthy
