Q.

My baby girl is 1yr and 6months old, 2days back she fell and got hit on her face which is right below eye. now she developed black eye. I put ice pack on the bruised area for 48hours 3hourly and applied heparin gel(thrombophob gel) .. from 3rd day (today) started giving hot towel on the bruised area. it looks black color around her eyes especially lower part or upper part of cheek.. please guide me what to do now and which topical ointment is good for the same.

A. Thank u so much for quick reply. response is always comforting. kudos to u.. actually the bruise area has reduced actually. on the first day it was on a big round spot with swelling. now swelling gone and the round spot faded but a arch like black spot appears .. I'll definitely consult a pediatrician soon.

A. First you should get a check with your doctor you have done well from your side but still if the problem is not reducing down at all and the blackness has become more prominent then I would definitely recommend you to consult your doctor one time
