Q.

My baby doesn’t look at our face when held nearer or upright position he looks to avoid eye contact but makes good eye contact when he is at a bit distant. What could be the reason? This is happening from his birth and he’s 10months now I don’t see any change.

A. Close means doesn’t mean very close but, when I hold his hands he stands but bow downs his head and when held doesn’t look at me… he’s 10months old!

A. If your child is not making an eye contact when closed but making an eye contact when far then it’s not a problem because when you keep the child really close sometimes they cannot maintain an eye contact and it gets blur for them even if you get something very close to your eyes you will also feel the same this is the same with the child give it six months if you do not see things getting better than consult your doctor or even if you want you can talk to your doctor now at itself
