Q.

I am 7 month pregnant. My tsh level is 6.4 and lft report is also not normal. My doctor had prescribed me thyronorm 12.5mg medicine for thyroid and noviliv 52ds syrup. I have attached my reports also. But when I have started the medicine thyronorm again it causes rashes and itching. What should I do?? I was taking thyronorm since 2nd month and skipped the medicine for 10days in November month. #AskTheExpert

A. Usually, Thyronorm 25 mcg Tablet 120's does not cause any undesirable effects in the body. Still, its overdose may cause diarrhoea, muscle spasm, weight loss, feeling hot even in cool environments, headache, nervousness, sleeplessness, irritability, menstrual irregularities (in women), and skin rash.
