Hi Doc, this question is for my 3 month old baby girl. she does not smile at me whereas she smiles at her toys,balloons etc. Me and my husband talks to her a lot. she sometimes make eye contact with us, sometimes she looks around the room. Does this mean she is not social and she does not recognize me as her mother?

A. this is a normal behavior of some kids so you should not worry about this. if your child is comfortable and accepting feeds and passing urine and gaining weight then nothing to worry about this
