Can a mother of a 11 month old son take a vaccine for covid ?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 11 months old and he is taking breast feeding and if you want to take Covid vaccination then it’s okay you can take it and feed her too

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. yes the mother can take the vaccination and also give breastfeeding definitely you can go for vaccination because as per recent recommendations on 19th of May Government of India has also started recommending vaccinations for lactating mothers so yes you can go for it and you can start giving breastfeeding immediately after the vaccination also
