Q.

#asktheexperts Today is 3 August and my EDD is 8 August but my doctor appointed me for 5 August for induction if labor doesn't start on its own despite everything being fine. Should I wait till 8 or visit at 5. Is waiting bad? how much is the difference between normal labor pain and induced pain?

A. No waiting is not bad so talk yo your gynaecologist and dye had to take care of other parameters as well like your BP so no red to take stress and if it first pregnancy little delay might occur and inducing also doesn’t cause any harm

A. Really advise you to check with your doctor why does your doctor want to induce pain only because sometimes delivery normally can even happen after estimated delivery date so of course till the eighth and if it doesn’t happen then you can get a sweep stretch done which helps and triggering labour within 48 hours and it’s actually good if you’re gonna go for normal delivery then you should wait
