#AsktheExperts My daughter has fever. dr gave me a medicine and told me " it would be a bitter one so mix it with honey and feed" but whenever i give it just like that she ended up vomiting. what do i do?

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. then repwat its dose as it has been vomitted out, Baby is having cold cough and fever then it can be due to viral infection you need to give him steam inhalation indirectly to times in the day and also keep him well hydrated .consult with your doctor near by who will examine the baby and guide you with appropriate medications in their proper dose. Viral fever can last from 3-5 days so you need to to give the prescribed medications for this duration at least and if it is persistent beyond you need to go for the investigation as per the advice of the doctor

From past many days his stool is very hard.. please suggest what we should do ?? How much water we should give to our baby ??

Author of questionMom of a 4 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. dr gave fepanil which is for fever and reducing pain. the bitter medicine which dr gave me was an antibiotic. i don't think its a good choice to give just any medicine without dr consultation. thankyou
