#asktheexperts my baby is 1month old she is been given harad water daily can it cause reflux in her because moment she is laid back on bed she wakes up and while sleeping she makes pressure on abdomen and grunts a lot and wales up what should i do

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician2 weeks agoA. To a 1 m old baby di not give anything even water . Just breastfeed him at regular intervals and hard water can definitely cause gastric reflux in such small babies. Avoid totally and strictly

Reflexes are common in this age stomach pain and vomitings are normal in this age so it is not advisable to give what you are giving as of now the doctors generally don’t recommend and if you’re facing a problem then you can talk to your doctor for further assistance
