Ayushi BhatiaMom of 2 children2 weeks agoA. hitting is very normal in this age as baby is not able to express his or her emotions.. completely avoid while hitting and do not scold or hit back the child.... just be available and ignore hitting and once child is done ask what they need and explain politely that hitting is not good

A lot of kids behave like this so you need to figure out where your child is learning this hitting habit from because they do not develop it on their own either they learn it from the parents and surrounding TV specially from the TV kids don’t get anything and they behaved like this kids just pick it up if I also want something I should behave like this so you need to do positive counselling and very strictly and firmly even if you have to show anger tell your child that hitting is not acceptable at any given point of time
