#asktheexperts I'm breastfeeding mom of 3 month old baby girl , please advise if I can go ahead and take covid vaccine now or need to wait till 6 month ?

A. Even I am worried about the same as flu vaccine are given to lil ones only after 6 months of age. if we take the vaccine they will also receive some amount of it through breast milk.

A. Hello dear.. Myself bf mother n I got my shot in early 2nd month of my baby. I'm absolutely doing good. No need to worry, if you're vaccinated, your baby do get your antibodies. Make sure your not week at the time of vaccination. stay safe stay healthy !

A. no problem you can take the vaccine now Covid-19 Yes very safe we can take the vaccine since the government has given permission for both pregnant women and lactating mothers take the vaccine there are many countries where the efficacy and safety is established

A. I Would definitely advise you to wait and then you go ahead after 3 to 4 months when your child is on other fields as well because even the child is dependent on you and if you have any kind of side-effect your child is also going to suffer because of that
