#asktheexperts Hi, We live in Delhi and we are planning a trip to Shimla next month with my Baby, My baby will be approx 6 months & 10 days old at that time and we are planning to travel by train I want to ask is it safe to take my baby to shimla at a higher altitude, the Altitude of Shimla is 2200 metres (7300 ft) above sea level? The temperatures at that time will be Maximum 22°C and Minimum 8-10°C

Mam it is going to be really cold so personally looking at the age of the child I don’t think so it’s a very good idea but at the end of the day if you can manage you should go ahead with it because the child is too small the child actually is dependent on you right now but the child will not have proper food while travelling in our city it will be very difficult for you to manage
