#asktheexperts Hi baby is 7 months old today.we could not vaccinated flu vaccine at 6 month .can she take flu vaccine now? what is the advantage of flu vaccine.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr 1 m old girl4 years agoA. can gi for that now .Vaccine are important for prevention from many diseases so it should be given on time and not be delayed . Some delay is alright but vaccination chart should be followed and all vaccines are important that are in the chart .

Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. hi dear mom..flu vaccine is optional.. can be taken now also..it protects baby from seasonal cold and other seasonal viral infections..even if baby gets..it won't be that severe. in pandemic paeds have specially recommended it. happy parenting
