You should check with your doctor as if the child is not gaining weight despite of eating when either your child is having poor digestion or nutritional deficiency and there could be other issues also so once you get examined by the doctor rather have a better understanding of the reason behind it and on that basis itself the decision meant to be done and what kind of diet is important plus putting a child into sports like Karate swimming basketball would be very good right now
