#asktheexperts Gd morning sir/Mam, My daughter is 1yr 8 month she has not speaking yet..My doctor said sometimes thyroid may also be the cause of speech delay..Give a clear explanation about it..

Why will a small child have thyroid and how does it interfere with the speech in this age I’ve never heard any of these things so I would just recommend if your doctor believes it could be due to thyroid then get a thyroid test done for your child and take a consultation with a speech therapist two kids can pick up on the speech by age of 2 1/2 years also but as of now if you want you can consult a speech therapist also
