Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy2 years agoA. Milk will only increase the constipation
at this age the child should pass stool regularly.
if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation.
give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child
it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits
avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food
adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 11 m old boy2 years agoA. You can explain to your child, “Milk at breakfast, milk at dinner.” I recommend serving milk once a day and letting them drink as much as they want, and then serving it a second time if they only drink about 8 ounces the first time. You may also choose to serve it with all the main meals or some other combination.
